Recipes


These recipes come directly from my life. Whenever possible, I purchase organically grown produce and ingredients, but not exclusively. While I am not a vegetarian, my husband and I have enjoyed a predominance of vegetarian foods for decades, and the recipes reflect that. Furthermore, I think vegetarian options are probably lacking more in most people’s diet-styles, therefore offering them is of greater service.

These recipes run the gamut from simple to more time consuming, and I’ve included some of my most favorite “family friendly” recipes that have withstood the test of time. Much of what I prepare comes from my own creative inspiration, however several great recipes are ones I’ve picked up from friends, family, or a treasured cookbook.

My personal style of cooking and eating reflects the seasons. Consequently, I take into account what fresh produce is broadly seasonal in the temperate climate of NJ (where I live), and with deference to the general properties of the foods in the recipes as they relate to the seasons.

While it isn’t 100% – it is on the continuum – done with awareness and livability.
